how to tell when you are in a room full of us tbi-ers:
1. someone tells you exactly what they want to do with you and exactly how, when, and where.
2. you hear gentle joking about "full-brainers" and cheers for "carers."
3. there's lotsa cursing going on from people who look like they ought not to be cursing.
4. some of us have named our mobility aids. (my cane is named benjamin copernicus galileo).
5. we are far more jovial than you are. in fact, we are euphoric.
